Most of what circulates about GTA 6 is inference, estimate, or repetition. This page is only the things Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive have stated directly. If it is not on this list, nobody has confirmed it.

SETTING AND CHARACTERS
The game is set in the state of Leonida. Its main city is Vice City.
Two playable characters: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. Rockstar named both itself.
That is the end of the official record on story and setting. Everything else you have read about the plot comes from trailers people have interpreted, or from journalists who were shown the game.
WHAT ROCKSTAR HAS NOT SAID
This is the part nobody publishes, because there is no traffic in it. Every item below is absent from the official record. If you have seen it stated as fact, it did not come from Rockstar.
A PC version. Not announced, not dated, not cancelled. Nothing has been said either way.
An online mode. The successor to GTA Online has not been announced or described.
Co-op. Nothing official says the two protagonists can be played by two people.
Map size. No figure has ever been given, and no comparison with GTA V.
Character switching. Never described.
Microtransactions, in-game currency, or any monetisation model for single player.
HOW THIS PAGE WORKS
A line only enters this page when Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive states it publicly. Nothing else moves it. A journalist who was shown the game is reporting, not confirming, and belongs on a different page. A leak is not a source. A well-known account repeating something is not a source.
This page is updated every time the official record changes, and the date below tells you when that last happened. If it says nothing new, that is the finding.
Last updated: 28 August 2026.
